It was discovered the unit wasn't the correct replacement type. This unit requires AC power. The existing unit being replaced was battery only. Hence this was not installed. The writing tapes over for the actual install date to be noted on the device. Thus, it is important to note how the current device is powered before purchasing your replacement.
