Description
This 2GIG Wireless FireFighter Smoke Detector Sensor-Transmitter (2GIG-FF-345) is a top-of-the-line security system kit that is perfect for any home or business. It is designed to work with 2GIG and is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. This item is made by a well-known brand and is designed to detect smoke and gas leaks. When your traditional hardwired smoke detectors sound an alarm, make sure your security system receives an alert too by adding the 2GIG Wireless FireFighter Smoke Detector Sensor-Transmitter. This battery-powered sensor mounts up to 6 inches away from a UL-listed smoke detector. It senses when an audible alarm sounds using its built-in microphone, and then transmits a wireless alarm signal to your 2GIG/Honeywell (or other 345MHz) alarm panel. The sensor can be used with a single hardwired smoke detector or an entire interconnected smoke detection system. When smoke is detected by any or all of your interconnected smoke detectors, your alarm panel will receive an alarm signal. Only one sensor is required to enable wireless communication for an interconnected smoke detection system. Converts a hardwired smoke detector to work with wireless alarm panels Only one sensor needed for entire interconnected smoke detector system Compatible with any 345MHz wireless panel, including 2GIG and Honeywell 5800 Battery-powered; mounts up to 6 inches away from smoke detector Does not impact UL or Fire Marshal approval of existing smoke detectors The FireFighter Sensor-Transmitter easily mounts to the wall or ceiling with the included hardware. It can be placed up to 6 inches away from the smoke detector as long as its small microphone holes are facing the detector. Contents FireFighter Sensor-Transmitter CR123A Battery Mounting Hardware Notes Does not detect smoke or issue alarms by itself.
