Antique 3” All Bisque Swivel Neck Doll Glass Eyes Orig Wig & Outfit Mignonette. Antique 3” All Bisque Swivel Neck Doll Glass Eyes Original Wig & Outfit. A lovely addition to any collection of antique dolls, mignonettes, all bisque dolls, dollhouse dolls, or Victorian childhood antiques. Antique 3” All Bisque Swivel Neck Doll Glass Eyes Original Wig & Outfit Description: Wonderful antique all bisque doll measuring approximately 3 inches tall, featuring a swivel neck, tiny glass eyes, delicate molded shoes with black painted heels, and an exceptional amount of original detail for such a petite survivor. She retains what appears to be her original blonde mohair wig styled in sweet side curls, along with her original pale pink silk outfit and delicate lace overlay. Tiny dolls of this size so often lose their original clothing and wigs over the decades, making it especially remarkable that this example has survived so intact. Her face is especially charming, with tiny inset glass eyes, finely painted lashes and brows, rosy cheeks, and a delicate closed mouth. The glass eyes give her wonderful life and expression rarely seen in dolls this small. Likely dating to the late 19th to early 20th century, she has all the appeal collectors look for in miniature all bisque dolls and mignonettes. Condition: Please study all photographs carefully as they are part of the description. There is age-related wear throughout consistent with a doll of this age and delicacy. The dress has staining/discoloration to the front, and there is wear and fraying to the lace and fabric. General wear to the paint and surface expected from age. I do not see major damage to the bisque itself. Considering her tiny size and fragile nature, she is truly remarkable for surviving in this condition with her original wig, glass eyes, and costume still present.
