  1. I received my package today and when I opened it I was dismayed to find that the top had been broken and appears to be unrepairable. The bottom was intact no chips or anything. The package was adequate and the compote would have been as described and would have been a great value to me. I contacted the seller and explain to her that I wanted to keep the bottom. There was insurance on that but I decided not to file for that. I am going to look for another top.
