So good that AD Vision decided to do an english version of it as well. THIS IS NOT THAT. These are the original JAPANESE issues, in Japanese. Newtype was and is the premier Anime magazine from Japan. The cool thing is, even if you can't read Japanese, the real-time Google Translate feature works pretty good nowadays, so with a little patience and creative reading, you can get most of the intent of the articles. These were purchased new and belonged to my personal collection until now, I have kept them lovingly for many years. Many of the inserts have been removed (especially in the older issues) and will be available for sale separately; I am not so insane as to try and re-integrate the inserts at this late date EXCEPT for the CDs/DVDs (Please note: DVDs are Region 2 and may not play on a Region 1 player; if you don't know what that means, your DVD player probably won't be able to play it, but sometimes even when marked Region 2 they still play... you might get lucky).
