Our Perspective: Baume & Mercier is one of the oldest watch manufacturer’s and currently operates under Richemont group with the likes of Cartier, JLC, Vacheron Constantin & many more. In the 1970s Baume & Mercier was focusing on creating i nnovatively shaped timepieces and this watch is no exception. Resembling a Cartier Baignoire, this watch is crafted from solid 18K Yellow Gold and features a curved oval design and an interesting lug design that hugs the wrist perfectly. Condition Report: Very Good vintage condition. Moderate scratches and indentations throughout case and bezel. Dial is pristine with no signs of refinishing. Crystal has faint spotting that is not visible without magnification and can most likely be cleaned during service. Replacement Cartier strap and buckle in worn condition. Watch is running, but requires a service if accurate timekeeping is needed. Condition Grade: 8.5 /10
