No dents, easily charged with micro USB cable (not included, but inexpensive to buy if you don't already have one ). I will reset to factory specs before shipping , deleting books that were on it. It will hold plenty of books, more than most people will probably have a need for. . Unlike kindle it will read the epub format the most common ebook format
